About Jemma Clark

I am currently a Project Planner at Impact Planning Services Ltd, assisting on residential applications and appeals. Passionate about creating an inclusive environment, most importantly providing spaces for teenage girls (having conducted thorough research for my Thesis as part of my MSc degree). I am knowledgeable about current issues within the built environment with a particular specialism in analysing the implications of demographic data, having conducted in depth research on evidence for independent older person’s housing in rural areas, specifically in Wiltshire. I achieved a distinction in my MSc City Planning and Design course. I have strong experience in: residential planning applications, appeals (hearings and written reps), letters of representation on behalf of residents and local plan representations. I have an eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring my work is up to the highest standards right from the first draft. I have a positive mental attitude and thrive both when collaborating and communicating as part of a team and when working independently. I consistently strive to further both my soft and technical skills and anticipate becoming a fully chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in the coming months. Outside of work I play cricket and netball. My hobbies also include baking, running and skiing. I am also President of Rotaract Chippenham.
