About Jemma Pecchia

I am a current MPH candidate with a concentration in Health Policy at the Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. During my time as an undergraduate, I double majored in public health and political science, led the Shockwave Dance Team, was a Resident Advisor, and was a student worker. I have fostered my communication, leadership, time management, and teamwork skills through these involvements. My academic and career interests are in the intersection of health policy and political science. I aspire to use my skills and knowledge to improve access to preventative care for groups who experience healthcare disadvantages. I am also highly interested in infectious disease prevention and control, reproductive healthcare, and injury prevention.
