About Jemma Watts

Jemma Watts Photography - I am an experienced food and interiors photographer, working for publishing, editorial, commercial and private commissions. Recent commissions include: Hillary's Blinds, Beards & Daisies, The Simple Things Magazine, 25 Beautiful Homes, KBB Magazine, 91 Magazine, House and Home (Ireland), Pinney's Of Orford. Publishers I have worked for, producing a variety of cookbooks covering from children's party food to Chinese food, include Penguin Books, Hodder & Stoughton, Kyle Books and Quintet Publishing. I also run photography workshops on the following subjects: Understanding your Camera, Food Photography, Interiors Photography, Photography for Small Business. In all my shoots I like to create a story with my images and in these workshops I help people to do the same. My last in-person workshop included taking a group of people to the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival, we had a great day and everyone produced superb photo stories of the day. Recently I have run Webinars in Photography for Small Business and Interiors Photography for part of the Creative Sessions for 91 Magazine. I shoot events and parties for my second company, Pearl Pictures, offering beautiful, natural, contemporary photography. This started off as casual additional income to my commercial work, but in 2009 I decided to form a company to take on more of this kind of work. I get a real buzz capturing all the personalities in and amongst a vibrant atmosphere. Having two companies keeps me very busy but I love the variety of work that I have all the time! Specialties: Food, Interiors and People.
