Currently, I am a GIS tech for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, creating community and ecological maps. Maps increase awareness and community engagement for the Army Corps' various projects. For years, I was a sustainability educator and advocate who emphasized people-focused solutions to environmental issues. I am particularly interested in projects at the intersection of ecological conservation and community engagement. I advocate for environmental justice, particularly food justice and science education. I believe environmental issues require interdisciplinary solutions that involve diverse stakeholders.
