About Jen Feeley

I am fascinated by data and the stories it can tell. It took me a while to recognize my calling in data science, but I wish I had learned earlier all you can do with statistics and some programming knowledge. I started in sales and marketing positions, but realized my joy was in going through the data and reporting with a fine tooth comb in order to analyze and improve business processes. In order to do that more effectively, I knew I needed a proper toolkit which led to a master's degree in data science and analytics. That led to me taking a data science position within Kellogg's, which means I get to combine my love of food and data by spending my days analyzing data and uncovering insights on cereal and Pringles. I am experienced with R, Python, SQL, Tableau, PySpark, data analysis and visualization, machine learning and statistics. I also have experience working in both the private and public sectors and working in 2 countries (USA and Ireland). My background in sales and marketing was for an engineering and manufacturing company. And I previously worked for 2 foreign government consulates in international trade and business development. These positions have given me skills in account management, customer service, project management, business development, lead generation and international trade.
