About Jenae D.

After 6 years in the United States Coast Guard, I've taken the leap to return to my education and pursue a career in law! Although the Coast Guard gave me invaluable experience through leadership and teamwork, I felt I needed to challenge myself further. By pursuing a career in the legal field I can best support my community through my learned skill and knowledge. Thus far, it has been nothing short of eventful and I've learned that there is always more room for growth. My goal is to work in the environmental law sector as I am particularly interested in energy initiatives and climate solutions. As Co-President of my institution's Environmental Law Association, I promote environmental sustainability impacts to the student body and coordinate informative opportunities that are particular to environmental student interest. I look forward to my continuous journey through law and the challenges ahead!
