About Jenifer Weldon

I have a combination of experience which marries together Agency and Client, Brand and Retail, Media Buyer & Seller and it’s that ability to innately understand expectations, actions, consequences, positions and opportunities from all sides which makes Fat Free Media unique. I began my advertising and marketing career on the agency side which created a perfect training ground as I worked on all forms of media and developed an understanding of media planning & buying for big brands looking to create awareness as well as sales. From there, I took on the role of the first Media Director for a fast-growing company which was built upon direct response. This experience was unique in that I learned that "buying to goal" for awareness of a big brand, had absolutely nothing to do with getting the phone to ring from spots that just aired. Lead generation was the name of the game. I can increase your awareness, generate foot traffic, push sales but I also know how to take a budget and drive results TODAY for clients who have only this weekend to make or break their month.sometimes it's not about cost-per-rating-point but eyeballs & impressions. Having sold both radio and television before starting Fat Free Media, means I understand from the inside what vendors can do to partner with agencies to benefit their clients. I know where the give and take is, I know what matters most to station management and I know what they can (or can't) do to make a buy work. That experience is rare and it is what sets us apart. I understand media and advertising from all perspectives and I enjoy putting it to use to make a real difference for my clients.
