I am a seasoned non-profit leader with 15 years of management, fundraising and communications experience. I have a passion for communication and design work and specialize in bringing non-profit missions to life visually, engaging audiences and inspiring support. Professional Responsibilities & Achievements: Communications I am an experienced leader who has driven the development and implementation of comprehensive integrated marketing and communications strategies, across a multitude of traditional and non-traditional platforms, with the goal of increasing mission familiarity and driving fundraising. This includes the oversight of all organization marketing and communication efforts; internal and external communications, strategic public relations, visual marketing development, community relations, social media and online presence, advertising, events and mission-based fundraising appeals. Event Management I have experience planning and managing auctions, fundraising breakfasts and luncheons, wine events and small, intimate major donor affairs, with a keen ability to manage various vendors and timelines to ensure event success. Example of event growth: Grew annual auction revenue by 44% within five years. Fund Development I have expertise in planning, implementing and increasing yields in a variety of fundraising activities. These include: direct mail, grant submissions, special events, major gift solicitation and special campaigns. Between the years of 2006‐2013, and for three organizations, I have secured over $5M in grant funding for general operating, programs and various special projects. Leadership I have supervised, inspired and lead staff teams of 1-15, volunteer groups, Boards, fundraising guilds and committees. Since 2007, I have served on a senior management team, participating in organization direction setting and strategic planning.
