About Jenn Howson

I am a Talent Acquisition expert with over 15 years' experience in multiple industries including financial services, healthcare, and insurance. I focus on creating a consultative partnership with hiring managers and function as a candidate advocate, guiding them through the recruiting and hiring process. I build these relationships through compassion, empathy, and meeting people where they are. While TA is my specialty, I have worked in employee relations, comp and benefits, learning and development, HRIS, project management/implementation, and continuous improvement within HR. I am also a self-identified Excel nerd and love the satisfaction of figuring out a sticky formula to automate a repetitive task or function. I am currently supporting the Great Lakes region for AssuredPartners recruiting needs, which includes full cycle recruiting, candidate/interview support, and onboarding tasks. When I’m not at work, you can find me doing pretty much anything creative: crafting, drawing/painting, crocheting, singing, or playing piano. I also love riding scooters or bikes with my kids, walking my pups, or rewatching my favorite episodes of Doctor Who for the millionth time. I'm always looking to connect with industry experts and fellow TA professionals, crafters, or Whovians.
