About Jenn Krump

At Hinds Community College, my role as Chief of Police and Director of Public Safety is reinforced by a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from the prestigious Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the Naval Postgraduate School. My tenure at Hinds Community College and previous roles as Director of Public Safety at UMMC Police and with the Gulfport (MS) and Oakland (CA) police departments have provided me with a robust foundation in policy development, training initiative planning and implementation, and complex investigations. The focus of my mission is to ensure safety and security across all 6 campuses, leveraging expertise in professional communication and team development. It is essential that, as leaders, we look to build up our teams and capitalize on the potential of every member. As a lifelong learner, I strive to instill curiosity in those I lead so they can find that passion for personal and professional growth.
