About Jenna Eylanbekov

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, studying Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. I have consistent and extensive research experience and I am interested in expanding my work to a more clinical setting as I prepare for OT school. My extensive experience in a variety of research as an undergraduate has prepared me for countless types of scientific opportunities. From working in an agriculture laboratory with anaerobic bacteria, to a human development laboratory with infant MRIs, I have managed to navigate a wide variety of obstacles and challenges, and I have learned to do so independently. My work ethic is my most powerful attribute which has led to my successes. All courses and labs I have participated in have received my full attention and effort. After transferring as an undergraduate and therefore experiencing academia at two different institutions, I have a unique perspective on different instructional layouts, communities, research, and more. I use my experiences to improve my own skills, as I have become very adaptable since undergoing so many changes. My passion for not only neuroscience, but science in general has shaped me into an immensely driven student, and ambitious scientist.
