As a dedicated student at Colgate University, working toward a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Philosophy, I aspire to pursue a career in the field of Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical development. My coursework combines an in-depth exploration of genetic and cellular processes with an understanding of broader ethical and philosophical implications of scientific advancements. I've gained hands-on lab experience through coursework in both biology and chemistry, as well as practical exposure to analytical chemistry during an internship at LabChem Inc, where I enhanced my technical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. I'm passionate about understanding how the expression of genes is regulated and how this information can be used to develop treatments for disease. In addition to my lab work, I’ve enjoyed roles that emphasize teamwork, communication, and leadership, such as serving as the Director of Social Events for my sorority, where I managed logistics and budgeting while building campus connections. Eager to connect with professionals in molecular biology, pharma, and biotech, I’m always open to learning and ready to bring a student’s fresh perspective and curiosity to new challenges and opportunities.
