About Jenna Lamers

I currently work at CBSA as an a/Business Officer (AS-03), with previous experience (approximately 1 year) as an a/Analyst, Policy and Programs (AS-04). My substantive position is a Policy and Programs Officer (AS-02). I bring a strong background in HR coordination, policy analysis, financial coordination, and operational support. I contribute to and support branch wide staffing strategies, advise and guide management and senior management, assist with the development of internal policies, and contribute to efficient operational processes. I’m known for being organized in complex environments, I achieve this through creating standard operating procedures, creating and implementing innovative staffing tools, and collaboration in cross-functional teams. I’ve also been recognized with the ISTB Difference Award for my contributions and am proud to be a female Indigenous public servant, as I am a member of the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation. I have a continuous drive to improve and learn, I’m passionate about public service excellence, equity, accessibility, and organizational effectiveness. Beyond work, I’m an avid traveller, reader, gardener, and concert-goer. I’m always eager to grow professionally and personally. Let’s connect!
