About Jenna Robinson

From as early as I can remember, I loved hockey and it has always been my favourite sport. I have had such a big passion for it and it is my goal to one day work in the hockey industry. I took Sport Management at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario where I recently graduated. The program provided practical opportunities to learn the business of sports, but also a lot about myself. Something I learned about myself that interests me quite a bit is that I am an Upholder. Being an upholder means that I can meet both outer and inner expectations. I enjoy meeting the expectations of others, especially in the workforce, but I also enjoy creating my own expectations and meeting them as well because both are important to me. Something else this course has taught me is that working with others is one of my best assets. In high school I was not put in group settings as much compared to my college experience, but it has taught me that it is one of my strengths. It is important an important skill to have in the sports industry because a lot of the work revolved around collaboration. Overall, I am a very creative and hard-working person and I would love to get in touch and connect with others in the sports industry and those who have the same passion as me!
