About Jenna S.

More than a decade ago, I started working as a cashier at a small Italian restaurant in my hometown. Since then, I've worked multiple other restaurant jobs, gotten my bachelor's degree, started my own landscaping company, and entered the corporate workforce as a Professional Resume Writer. With all of my experience, I still count the lessons I learned as a cashier as some of the most valuable; how to interact with customers, how to manage multiple tight deadlines, how to prioritize, and how to communicate effectively with coworkers, even through a language barrier. Though my focus now is on writing, editing, and proofreading content, I center those lessons in my approaches to every project. Telling the most effective story possible requires active listening, cross-functional coordination, and a kinship with the desired audience. With a Certified Advanced Resume Writer (CARW) certification from Career Directors International, along with a publishing internship and a passion for reading, I am well equipped to tackle new challenges.
