2025 Praxis Nonprofit Accelerator Fellow | 2024 Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award for Outstanding Service Recipient | Disrupting Generational Poverty | Youth Advocate | As the Founder and CEO of 91 Place, my mission is to disrupt generational poverty and chronic homelessness among young adults in Indianapolis. I believe that through redemptive relationships and holistic support, we can empower young people to rebuild their lives, unlock their potential, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. At 91 Place, we provide more than just shelter. We offer a transformative experience that includes transitional housing, workforce development, life-skills training, and mental health services for young adults aged 18-24. Our approach goes beyond meeting immediate needs by equipping our residents with the tools and support they need to achieve lasting independence. Our work is guided by core values of Life of Opportunity, Authentic Integrity, Empathetic Accountability, Community of Compassion, and Christian Love. These values shape our commitment to dignified, individualized care that acknowledges the unique strengths and potential of each person we serve. By creating a community where marginalized youth are valued and supported, we are reshaping the narrative around homelessness and building a foundation for long-term success. I’m passionate about bringing together community leaders, advocates, and organizations to address systemic issues and create sustainable solutions.
