I am a writer, editor, and veterinary professional with special interests in information technology, human resources, and business development. I am passionate about connecting with people and helping them succeed. I enjoy working in a role that allows me to have a positive influence on a company and its team. I embrace and encourage positive change. We can always be learning and evolving. I am also a registered veterinary technician with a love for animals and the veterinary medicine industry. Since 1997, my veterinary experience has ranged from routine wellness care and preventive medicine to emergency and specialty care. I have worked in a variety of veterinary environments, including primary care, wellness, hospital/ICU, emergency, specialty care, and holistic/alternative/complementary medicine. I have completed numerous veterinary continuing education courses and attended a variety of veterinary conferences to enrich my knowledge of veterinary medicine and the veterinary business. This includes Patterson Veterinary University's four practice management modules. I strive to help people provide a better life for their pets with reliable, up-to-date information. I have always loved animals and enjoyed activities such as training and dog sports. As a proud pet "parent," I understand the essential role animals play in our family unit and the importance of preserving that.
