About Jenna Thorstenson

2020 Graduate from Tulane University with a BS in Public Health and a concentration in Infectious Disease and Tropical Medicine. I am currently successfully working as a local health volunteer in diverse community with a wide variety of needs. My current success highlights my passion for problem solving the issues faced by a diversified population, my excellent communication skills, my effective team building skills, and my ability to use my own personal experiences to design creative solutions to critical community needs. I have worked in hospitals, non-profit agencies, and independent services organizations in both New Orleans and Chattanooga, and these experiences have contributed to the development of my both my professional and public speaking skills. I am a committed advocate for the critical need for Public Health solutions in diversified communities, and look forward to leveraging the excellence of Tulane's educational training in my next employment opportunity.
