About Jenna Woods
I am a proud Noongar woman with family connections throughout the South West of Western Australia. My primarily teaching area is Community Development with a focus on the theory and practice of community development, particularly in relation to Indigenous knowledges and practices. In addition to my current doctoral research, I am a Chief Investigator in the ARC-funded research: Racism and Allyship in Aboriginal Youth Spaces. My key areas of interest include Aboriginal women’s and children’s interests, the impact of racism on Aboriginal communities, family violence, gender relations and social justice.
