About Jenni Hranek

I am an RVTg (NC) with a Bachelors degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology (Tarleton State University, 2016). While going to school for my BASc in Veterinary Technology, I worked as an executive assistant/receptionist and waitress. I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 15 years. I have a sincere passion for the well-being of all animals, with a focus primarily on companion/small animals. I excel at canine & feline dentistry, small animal clinical pathology, veterinary forensics, client relations, and small/companion animal restraint & behavior. Handling aggressive/fearful dogs and cats is a very unique skill that I have excelled at from early on in my veterinary technician career. I have worked in corporate, emergency, and private practice veterinary hospital settings as well as a part time tele-triage position for 9 months. Additionally, I gained experience at a high-volume, small animal spay/neuter/vaccine clinic while completing my externship for my AAS. I started teaching the Vet Assistant program at Carteret Community College in January 2021. I have enjoyed helping to grow the local veterinary community while promoting an atmosphere of FUN while learning in the classroom!
