As an Associate Extension Specialist with Oklahoma State University's Community Nutrition Education Programs, I focus my work on youth health and food literacy. I am a registered dietitian and hold a master’s degree in health and human performance and another master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from OSU with a research focus on school readiness and policy, systems, and environmental change implementation in Oklahoma. I have over 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating community-based nutrition education programs and in my current role have led the adaptation of evidence-based curricula into award-winning, engaging interventions like Virtual Farm to You and KiK It Up. My passion is creating active, hunger-free, and healthy communities where all youth can thrive.
