About Jenni Sweet

My reputation for translating research outputs into innovative solutions in the global Processing industry is based on 25 years of managing the two-way interface between fundamental science and application. I have strong relationships with research institutions in Southern Africa, North and South America, Europe and Australia and have developed sound long-term partnerships with recognised global Processing experts. As a Process Engineer, I have critically reviewed and provided actionable insights on comminution and flotation circuits treating platinum group metals, gold, copper, nickel, iron ore, coal and phosphates, underpinned by circuit surveys, mass balancing, modelling and simulation using state-of-the-art software. I am a thought leader in flotation practices, diagnostics, technology and design and have lead reviews of global assets for internal benchmarking and identification of improvement opportunities or risk mitigation, as well as providing technical expertise and assurance for projects and business development. I have also enriched Processing knowledge across the organisation through a Centre of Excellence and the creation of relevant, detailed and on-demand technical training content.
