Currently seeking a part-time, remote QA Website Tester position enabling me to utilize my 5+ years as a Manual tester with MagicLamp, a digital marketing firm. Currently, manage & train additional part time QA Manual Tester who's been with the company nearly 2 years. I receive the project to be tested from the project management tool, Asana or via the development team directly & I'm responsible for a weekly rotation completing regression testing for multiple websites. All test results are documented with detail into Asana, a shared excel doc or via email & assigned/sent to the appropriate developer. upon completion of reported issues, I retest again to ensure the changes appear & function as intended across multiple browsers, desktop & mobile/Android. this process continues until the issues have been fully resolved. I often make suggestions for improvement on both look & function, keeping best practices at the forefront along with the User Experience. I'm very detail oriented, efficient & I'm good at what I do! I enjoy finding the bugs & formatting issues as I have a true passion for delivering excellence. I'd like to learn addional aspects to QA Testing, but the company I currently work for has these other aspects with other developers within the company. I did take my personal time to learn Selenium IDE, which is an automation system made for those who do not know programming. unfortunately this system is going away, so I'm looking for a different automation system. However, I've learned that automation is only helpful for sites/pages that will not change as if they change often, the QA Tester's time is spent correcting the test scripts.
