About Jennifer Aronson

I am a Partner at Hodgson Russ in the Corporate & Securities Group and help lead the Firm's nonprofit/tax-exempt organizations group. I also am host of She Talks Law, a podcast available on Apple and Spotify, which provides relevant real-time legal education for women investors, entrepreneurs, boards and women owned businesses. My “why” is improving the communities in which we live and doing good work for the people who do good work. As a former Teach for America teacher, I have an additional layer of firsthand perspective that has proven to be most valuable when advising for my nonprofit clients, particularly in the education sphere. I also have joint J.D. and M.S. Education degrees from Syracuse University. My expertise and in-depth knowledge has proven fruitful in the nonprofit sector as I represent clients on matters ranging from governance to contract negotiations to tax compliance to mergers and reorganizations and beyond. While serving my nonprofit clients, I also maintain a "for-profit" practice dedicated to complex corporate restructurings, M&A, contract negotiation and general corporate matters.
