About Jennifer Boeve

Throughout my career, my focus has been to create and implement an engaging, relevant, standards based educational environment for all learners. I have honed my communication, relational, and motivational skills to ignite student engagement and subject-matter interest. When there has been a need, I have created a course of study that balances state curriculum guidelines with learners' needs and interests. As a K-2 Virtual Educator with Kelloggsville Public Schools, I built relationships with my students, their learning coaches, and their families that created and reinforced a positive classroom environment for learning and student growth. I also promoted activities that support young children's intellectual and all-around development, combined positive behavior plans with effective measures and individualized lesson plans to increase concentration, participation, and progress in student accountability. Teaching Technology in Grades 4-8, I developed grade appropriate programs that focused on relevant and relatable skills such as keyboarding, Google Workspace experience, basic coding skills, and how to navigate the LMS (Google Classroom and Canvas). Each grade level allowed for individual goal setting, student accountability, and pathways to success. Student pacing was self-driven and I was a facilitator in guiding their successful completion of the course. Creating a positive workplace environment, celebrating the unique perspective that diversity brings to our space, supporting individuals perspectives, and seeking solutions to create a better experience for all are just a few areas in which I excel. My inherent passion for fostering safe, collaborative environments has contributed to productive, thoughtful, and accomplished citizens.
