About Jennifer Brisson

Growing up I always wanted to be a veterinarian, I live animals and wanted to work with them. I soon found out from biology class that I was not cut out for that. So I was back to square one. I struggled in highschool to get a job because I was inexperienced; but how do you gain experience if no one will hire you. Persistence. I eventually got a retail job working at Walgreens. Now my mom works in the customer service industry for tech companies so I already had a leg up in that department by learning from her and talking to her about her job, but I then learned from the ground up the rest of it. I was there for just shy of 3 years. This is when I decided it was time to go back to school and make a carrier for myself. I then took my passion for baking and turned it into a career. I worked in the food industry for almost three years learning the ins and outs of the business both from small business as well as big corporate side of things. I was not happy and decided I was young and wanted to slow down so I decided to go back to retail where I found myself in a field I knew nothing about but I had once been passionate about. So I dove right on feet first nd absorbed as much knowledge as fast as I could to get me where I am today as a Retail Lead at a family own small business that is growing and I growing with it.
