Experienced legal marketing and communications professional with a background in journalism. • Graduate of the Thomson Reuters Leadership program. Experience managing diverse teams. In my current role, I am responsible for delivering content and managing communications across all platforms for a large national business law firm. I lead a dynamic team of six highly skilled individuals including three Writer/Editors, the Manager of Media and Public Relations, a Market Recognition Specialist and Marketing Coordinator responsible for lawyer bios. In this role, I report to the CMO and work directly with the senior leadership team and business development leads on strategic projects, developing messaging to amplify lawyer expertise to the market. I am a media and communications professional with extensive experience creating engaging content internally and externally for various B2B and consumer audiences. My background is in journalism and storytelling and my expertise is in taking complex subject matter and translating it into easily understood content for a variety of digital platforms and audiences. For more than seven years, I wrote about corporate law and legal technology issues, focused on large and mid-size legal departments. I have also written about and interviewed leaders in the health care, education and enterprise technology sectors.
