About Jennifer Carpenter

Updated April 2018: Although I am very pleased with my career in Junior High as a Math Instructor and ESE Case Manager; I am keeping my options open in hopes of getting back into Administration. I truly feel Leadership is my calling and hope to move toward advancement soon. I am currently working in Brevard County as an ESE/Math Instructor for Junior High Students with Academic, Social, Emotional and Behavioral Concerns. I love going to work each day. My students are never dull or boring, my classes are well structured and supported, and my team of co-workers are phenomenal! I feel my greatest strengths in the classroom include building rapport, encouraging and modeling organization, and integrating rigorous material in a fun and supportive environment. It is through our mistakes that learning occurs, and I facilitate an environment where self correcting is respected. I am involved with many projects in my building including AVID and PBIS.I also volunteer with extra curricular functions. When I'm not teaching, I'm sculpting cakes and dabbling more into the world of film. 2014 was an incredible year of possibilities. I was involved with 3 movie projects and was in the running for a huge commercial and a spot on a TV show. In 2015 I received a larger part on an Indie Horror film as a cop. I got to work with an amazing and creative team which invited me back in 2016 to film with them again! Although I haven't acted since moving to Florida; I look forward to continuing to act and hope to sing on a soundtrack in the future. All of these things are super exciting, but the job I value the most is being the mommy of the most incredible young lady I have ever met! I take great pride in raising my little warrior. So with all this positiveness, why am I here? I believe it's important to connect, motivate, and inspire others. I have huge dreams within my career and hobby fields. I hope to ultimately find a job that allows an overlap of both.
