About Jennifer Collazo

My current job has allowed me to change different roles in fourteen years. During that time, I went from data entry to a cable coordinator. I have learned to adjust to different requirements and become a more independent thinker and learner. I have become more of a mentor to younger employees. Before I decided to go back to school, I was a bit shy in my work behavior. As I learned more about psychology and myself, I became more outspoken. I have encouraged others to speak out against unfair treatment. I recently put together recommendations for the improvement of employee morale at my job, due to the opinions and feelings voiced by other employees. I have applied my coursework knowledge to real world applications, such as my relationships with my coworkers and my managers. I also have improved my communication skills with others outside of the job by reading body language and listening to what others do not say. In the past two and a half years, I have grown personally and professionally.
