About Jennifer Coxe

I’m an educational leader, curriculum & instructional designer with over 20 years of experience driving engaging, learner-centered experiences across K–8 education. From designing interdisciplinary STEAM programs and implementing new instructional technologies to leading school-wide initiatives and coaching cross-functional teams, I bring a deep understanding of how to translate complex ideas into accessible, impactful learning. As the Director of STEAM, I led the strategic development of cutting-edge labs, spearheaded the rollout of new curricula, and guided faculty in implementing project-based and tech-integrated instruction. I’ve also led major school-wide Ed Tech and systems transitions—like student information platforms—and introduced AI tools to support both teaching and operations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I served as Middle School Principal and led the school through a rapid transition to virtual and in-person pod learning. I helped faculty pivot instructional strategies, maintained a strong school culture, and ensured students remained connected and supported. This experience deepened my ability to lead with empathy, adapt quickly, and solve complex challenges under pressure. Now, I’m looking to expand my career into instructional design and learning strategy roles beyond the classroom—where I can apply my passion for innovation, strong leadership skills, and ability to drive change in learning environments, whether in edtech, corporate L&D, curriculum development or education leadership.
