About Jennifer Eckert

I grew up in the real estate business, as both of my parents were well-established Marin County brokers. I started my career as a mortgage broker, which gave me valuable insight later as a Realtor®. My passion for real estate and fierce commitment to clients have yielded unrivaled word-of-mouth business; since my first home sale in 2005, more than 75% of my deals have come from referrals or repeat clients. This level of trust is not accidental, and it is an honor that I do not treat lightly. I take my duties to clients - first-time buyers and seasoned investors alike - very seriously. Many of my clients have become lifelong friends. My father, Raymond Joseph Eckert, was the youngest-ever president of Marin County's Board of Realtors® (at only 26). He taught real estate, opened Eckert Realty in the 1970s, and then later opened The Real Estate Exchange with my mother, Joan Eckert. I have a unique perspective on the business, having spent much of my youth organizing my parents' files and helping rehabilitate countless homes. I honed my negotiating skills at the tender age of three, bartering painting services for mint chip ice cream. I owned my first duplex at 13, graduated Cum Laude with a BA from UCLA, and became a licensed Realtor® in 2004. Choosing a career in real estate was the best decision I've ever made. Two decades later, I'm even more in love with real estate and excited to get up and go to work every day. I've been recognized several years running by Los Angeles magazine as one of its “Real Estate All-Stars,” and landed on Real Trends Inc's 2022 list of America's Best agents (top 1.49% of more than 1.6 million Realtors®). I have received press in the LA Times, Los Angeles magazine, Curbed, Variety, and Elysian magazine. John Kostrey, a friend for those same two decades, helped me with several clients during a 2019 maternity leave. Things went so smoothly that we ultimately merged our businesses, allowing us to create an even more seamless experience for clients while complementing strengths in disparate neighborhoods. Joining forces with John was another of the best decisions I've ever made. I've sold more than $180 million of Los Angeles real estate, and my Zillow profile is full of glowing testimonials. I'm an expert negotiator, a relentless client advocate, and a lover of all things gluten-free (especially donuts). I live in Glendale with my husband John and our two children.
