About Jennifer Fox

Teach for America led me from rural Wisconsin to Birmingham, Alabama where I grew my leadership skills in underserved urban schools, made a difference in the lives of my students, and built relationships with administration, colleagues, and families in the communities I taught in. These experiences strengthened my commitment to honoring Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I learned how to efficiently plan, use data to track progress and outcomes, and motivate young people to achieve their goals. I taught virtually and in person and became proficient in all forms of remote-communication technology. During this period I also earned my Master of Education and gave birth to my son. After taking the time we needed at home together, I re-entered the workforce as an instructional coach and curriculum designer, continuing to do what I love: teaching, creating, and fostering meaningful growth and achievement.
