About Jennifer Gerhardt

I am a highly passionate and motivated self starter and team player always looking for a new challenge. After choosing to be a stay-at-home mother to help raise our daughter and several moves around the country for my husbands job, I'm excited to get back into the workforce as we call Lexington our home. While completing my bachelors degree from Arizona State University, I accepted a position at Take Charge America as a credit counselor and excelled in that position for 7 years. After successfully being a leader in my organization I was promoted three times over the course of 4 years working with executive level leaders throughout. In 2008 my husband was promoted and our family moved to California where I found employment in another company in the financial industry and worked diligently as an analyst until the housing crash of 2008. After I was laid off, we decided it was best to be a stay-at-home mother to help raise our child in her early years.My husband was then promoted and transferred again to North Carolina when I decided to pursure a life-long goal of opening up my own in-home pet care company that I grew to over 150 regular clients and added an additional 3 employees over 3 years. I catered to affluent clientelle in the Charlotte metro area and gained invaluable experience while owning and operating a financially successful business until my husband accepted another promotion. My hope is that I am given a fair chance to shine as an employee of a great company within in the Lexington, KY area. I will bring a positive attitude and team first mentality along with a wealth of knowledge and skills that would benefit an organization looking to enhance their workforce.
