About Jennifer Greer

In February 2015, I was feeling tired and burned out from my 32 years of nursing so I took a week off to rest and do some soul searching. I grew up in Virginia Beach, but I had never been to Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. I decided to visit the museum and take a tour. The library had a table of old books for $5 and although I was not much of a reader, one book grabbed my attention. I bought it, took it home and the more I read, the more it enticed me. Ladies Who Launch by Victoria Colligan & Beth Schoenfeldt is a book about entrepreneurship and creativity as a lifestyle. I joined Withit and then drove five hours to High Point, stayed five hours and then drove five hours back. It was a fast trip but Devine intervention lead me to a booth for Caromal Colours, a specialty paint company whose product developer and owner is A FORMER NURSE! I grabbed her card and product info and attended a couple of design seminars before heading back home. Fast forward 18 months, I have attended two Withit conferences, three High Point Furniture Markets, and achieved my certification as an independent rep for Caromal Colours. I just opened Cottage LunaSea, a specialty shop for custom finishes, specialty paints, home décor and gifts. It has been a whirlwind but things have fallen into place. As I build my business, I hope to inspire and encourage others to live a life they love. I am very passionate about dog rescue and K9 Justice League. I am working to support them with donations and proceeds from my pet product sales and hope to aid in future adoptions. Adopt one until there are none.
