About Jennifer Lyons

Since my clinical rotations and internships as a nursing student and mid level provider I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, hospitals, long term care and assisted living facilities. Encompassing medical-surgical care, intensive care, cardiac, pediatrics and geriatrics. These experiences have given me the opportunity to find the vital skills necessary to prepare me well for the everyday challenges of a mid-level medical professional in a long term care facility. I am driven to use best practice and be the most competent and confident health care professional I can be. I enjoy learning new techniques and skills each and everyday; I am very interested and eager to continue my nursing career and provide care as a family nurse practitioner. I obtained my Bachelors of Nursing degree at Daemen College in December 2018 and completed the FNP Master’s program at D’Youville College. AANC Board Certified, 2022. In addition to my nursing skills, I am a St. Bonaventure Journalism and Mass Communications graduate. I have had ongoing experience in leadership, project coordination, community outreach, and research.
