About Jennifer Mitchell

Soprano and Bay Area native Jennifer Mitchell is an active performer of opera, musical theatre, and choral music throughout the Bay Area and beyond. She has been an AGMA member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus since 2018, and she made her San Francisco Symphony solo debut under the baton of Andràs Schiff, singing the soprano solo in Mendelssohn's Lobgesang. As a teacher, Jennifer joined the faculty at San José State University in 2018 as an Adjunct Lecturer in Voice, and she teaches voice privately. She is a member of NATS and an active member of the SF Bay Area NATS chapter. She has previously taught for educational programs at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Musical Theatre Works, Lareen Fender's The Ballet School, and Broadway by the Bay.
