perform initial assessment, including cash flow and collateral analysis, as well as work with commercial banker/ lender to determine initial "go/ no go" decision and next steps • spread and analyze financial statements, corporate tax returns, personal financial statements, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Reports, credit bureau results, real estate tax status, and other data in order to prepare loan memorandums • work with the commercial bankers/ lenders and board of directors to effectively manage the existing portfolio • communicate directly with existing and prospective clients to request financial information and work through issues identified in the analysis • conduct ongoing monitoring that will focus on completion of annual reviews, review of covenant and borrowing base compliance, review of trend analysis reports, addressing default situations, review of notes maturing list, receipt of financial information, maintenance of loss ratios, delinquencies, and ongoing analysis of each loan's risk rating within established policy • work with the commercial bankers/ lenders to identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing and prospective clients • attend weekly loan committee meetings and present loans to committee as appropriate • perform appraisal reviews • review financial packet and determine additional information needed in order to proceed with the loan • research prospective clients including, but not limited to, internet research, bank & trade references
