About Jennifer Oconnor

With my studies and interests grounded in people, culture, and psychology, my career path has been focused on and in field with these things at the forefront. While I began my career in Social Services led by my passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, my people-focused mentality coupled with a love for fitness and music, I was led to a fitness opportunity in boutique cycling with the CYCLEBAR® brand. Within this role, my love for the craft and desire to help people transform their lives truly became my main career focus. A year in to my career in the fitness industry, coming out of the pandemic, I took on the role of Lead Instructor and led a team of seasoned instructors in to a new fitness landscape within the CYCLEBAR® studios in Fort Lee, Closter and Hoboken, NJ. Shortly thereafter, I embraced the opportunity to make the jump from a career in Social Services to a full time career in fitness as the General Manager of the Fort Lee CYCLEBAR® studio, owned by The BridgeFit Group, specializing in boutique fitness and wellness studios. Doubling sales and membership base within 6 months of my career as the GM and proving to be a force in establishing motivated employees, a successful sales and instructor team, and an unmatched studio culture led to my role as the Regional Sales and Operations Director for The BridgeFit Group in the Northeast Market. Within my portfolio I oversaw, there were 4 CYCLEBAR® studios in NJ and CT, which I successfully led to growth across various KPIs. Currently, I continue to instruct indoor cycling at the Northern New Jersey locations for CYCLEBAR® and am the Multi-Unit CYCLEBAR® Regional Manager with Xponential Fitness.
