I am a compassionate, devoted, and successful Registered Nurse with over 25 years’ experience working in a variety of nursing settings within the healthcare industry. My nursing specialties include Oncology, Quality Improvement, Clinical Research, and Nursing Education. I excel in critical thinking, team collaboration, and effective communication. Proficient in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office, I am passionate about nursing and caring for others. My drive to make a difference in patients' lives has led me to the nurse educator environment. My extensive nursing skills, combined with leadership experience, form a winning combination for a nurse educator. My research training and clinical research nurse experience includes the following SOPs, ICG GCP E6 R(2), GDP/ALOAC-C, Regulatory Affairs such as FDA CFRs, maintaining eRegulatory binder, TMF/ISF, and submissions to FDA, IRB, CRO, and sponsor, quality assurance, monitoring and query resolution, data management, eSources documents (i.e. CRFs, lab/procedure results, H&P, conmeds, participant diaries, etc.), understanding the IC process, and identifying and reporting AEs, SAEs, and SUSARs, CAPA, comprehension and execution of clinical trial protocol, and knowledge of clinical trial operations from feasibility to close-out. I am excited to bring my transferable healthcare skills of executing and interpreting data and analytics, performance improvement plans (PIs), reviewing, educating and compliance of core competencies and guidelines, leadership, being proficient with medical and computer software, and much more to the pharmaceutical/biotech/IVD industry. My drive and passion to make a difference in patients' lives has led me from traditional healthcare to clinical research. My extensive nursing skills, combined with clinical research experience, form a winning combination for research success. I look forward in helping to create tomorrow's healthcare!
