About Jennifer Pluma

I’m a mission-driven Customer Success professional with a background rooted in education and over 5 years of experience across the edtech landscape—from teaching in underserved communities to managing a $4M+ book of business at Clever. I started my career in the classroom, where I witnessed firsthand the systemic inequities facing students in low-income communities. That experience shaped my commitment to equity in education and continues to drive every decision I make. I transitioned into edtech to scale that impact—leveraging technology to support teachers, empower schools, and improve outcomes for students everywhere. At Clever, I’ve grown from technical support into a strategic CSM role where I manage over 100 K–12 accounts, lead onboarding for district administrators, and drive adoption through data-informed engagement strategies. I collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to deliver solutions that work for real educators, and I co-lead our HOLA ERG to foster culture and inclusion. What sets me apart is my ability to combine educator empathy with technical expertise. I don’t just support products—I advocate for teachers and ensure they’re getting tools that truly make a difference in their day-to-day. Whether I’m delivering a webinar, troubleshooting an integration, I bring a relentless focus on client success, long-term growth, and mission alignment. I’m passionate about the intersection of education, technology, and equity—and I’m excited to continue building partnerships that put powerful tools into the hands of those who need them most.
