About Jennifer Reeves

I have always been an individual that was passionate about helping others so I decided to become a nurse. I started my nursing journey by first becoming an LPN and working at a SNF on the Alzheimer’s Unit. I then decided to continue my education as a nurse and so I then worked on obtaining my RN license. Upon graduating, I started working at a treatment center to help those struggling with addiction. In this nursing role I started out administering medications and then took on the role as an Admissions Nurse. I completed intakes, provided education, completed treatment plans, transcribed doctor orders, obtained labs and collaborated with physicians and pharmacies. I wanted to gain more skills in my career so I took a position offered with a community service board and became a Nurse Case Manager. I now complete intakes and discharges, provide education, collaborate with different providers and pharmacies, complete referrals needed for outside services, work with insurance companies to complete prior authorizations and I see individuals and provide appointments in our office, or by utilizing zoom or by telephonic means. At the end of the day, I feel I am successful in my nursing role if I have made a positive impact in someone else’s life.
