About Jennifer Ryan

Jennifer Ryan is an education analyst in RTI’s International Education group. She has over 8 years of professional experience in survey research for international education and has overseen data cleaning, data processing, quality control and assured data accuracy for early grade student assessments across multiple countries and multiple languages. She has helped train education survey assessors and lead assessor accuracy measurement activities while in-country. Ms. Ryan also has significant experience in capacity building and mentoring with regard to data and data analysis. She has led multiple capacity building workshops to train and mentor in-country counterparts, specifically in the areas of data handling, quality control, data analysis, and data reporting. Additionally, she has helped partners gain proficiency in statistical software and to acquire the skills and expertise needed to analyze and report on early grade assessment data. Ms. Ryan has specific experience with monitoring and evaluating programs in early grade reading and mathematics, early childhood pre-literacy, socio-emotional learning, educational technology, and inclusive education. Ms. Ryan also has extensive experience in project management and nonprofit work and is highly adept in written communications, with an emphasis on client reporting and academic journal articles.
