About Jennifer Siebrecht

After graduating college, I received a job of teaching special education in Burlington, Iowa. I was provided the opportunity to work with second and third grade students who needed assistance with reading, writing, math, and social and emotional skills. I wrote their Individualized Education Plans, amended their Individualized Education Plans, co-taught in my students' general education classrooms, and adapted all of my lessons to meet the needs of students who were below grade-level and those who were above grade-level. I moved down to St. Louis, Missouri in June 2014. I have worked in the St. Charles School District and Orchard Farm School District as a preschool paraprofessional for the past two years. As a paraprofessional, I have supported my students with their fine motor skills, prepared and demonstrated music and movement lessons, worked with at-risk children on social and emotional skills, and created an enthusiastic classroom where students learn through real world experiences. My objective is to obtain a full time teaching position. I am certified to teach students who range from birth to fifth grade and early childhood special education.
