About Jennifer Smith

My experience in customer service and being out of work not only led me to a new career but to Social Services. Having the opportunity to work with amazing collegues who shared their knowledge, has allowed me to grow my experience in Employment Counselling. This information has been invaluable to my work ethics, values, and commitment to working with diverse individuals. I continuously strive to help people realize their employment related skills and assist in their employment goals. I have a passion to develop/negotiate individual employment plans working towards financial independence. With these skills I have learned to develop, create, organize and facilitate employment and informational workshops I am an open heart and have used the tools I have developed as a Certified Helpline Worker to assess crisis, apply Crisis Prevention and Intervention techniques in every level of my professional and personal life.
