I thrive in dynamic organizations where I can leverage my creativity and innovative problem-solving skills to drive growth and success. Leading through change and growth with my current team has been rewarding and has led to impactful results for the community. Colleagues have described me as a supportive leader who is empathetic, hard-working, honest, and proactive. Leading and developing others is a source of personal pride and satisfaction. I view my role as a leader as a cultivator, creating a supportive workplace culture to help people and teams reach their full potential and contribute to the organization's values and mission. I am systematic by nature and enjoy working to improve procedures and processes. In my operational role, I have solved many challenges through technology, which has led to the development of strong working partner relationships. I value self-reflection and believe that learning should never end. I am completing my Master of Arts in Leadership, where my final capstone project focuses on how increasing conflict competency skills can lead to psychological safety in the workplace. In addition to formal development opportunities, when open to growth, learning comes from the most unexpected places. I enjoy attending spoken art and theatre productions to learn from the lived experiences of others. My favourite time of year is when the Edmonton International Fringe Festival is running.
