About Jennifer Webster

Through her practice as a mediator, arbitrator and facilitator, Jennifer applies over 25 years of labour relations experience as an advocate and as a mediator to her current role in supporting employees and employers in resolving workplace conflict. Jennifer is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the ADR Institute of Ontario. She is also a certified facilitator in LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodologies. Jennifer provides services to investigate, mediate, and arbitrate outstanding issues and conflicts between individuals and parties. Jennifer is recognized for an approach to conflict management which focuses on building relationships while supporting creative problem-solving. In addition to her work as a mediator / arbitrator, Jennifer designs and delivers highly interactive workshops for employees, union representatives, supervisors and managers. The workshops focus on conflict management, building respectful workplaces, team development, effective meetings, negotiations, and innovative problem-solving. Workshops can include LEGO SERIOUS PLAY elements to unlock habitual thinking and increase engagement of participants. Jennifer is an experienced facilitator for participatory decision-making and interest-based problem-solving and has provided facilitation assistance in interest-based negotiations to unionized workplaces in broadcasting, aviation, telecommunications, nuclear industry, crown corporations, and public utilities. She regularly works as a negotiations coach in the Queen's University Labour Relations Foundation program offered through the Industrial Relations Centre.
