About Jennifer Wright

As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience in the hospital and health care industry, I am passionate about providing quality care and comfort to the elderly and their families. I currently lead the Skilled Nursing Facility at PeaceHealth in Ketchikan. PeaceHealth is a non-profit health care system serving communities across Alaska, Oregon, and Washington. I have a strong background in nursing management, disease management, nursing education, medication administration, operations management, and financial management. I am skilled in using electronic health records (EHR) to improve patient safety, communication, and outcomes. I also have expertise in palliative care, which enables me to deliver compassionate and holistic care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. I am committed to enhancing the well-being and dignity of my residents and staff, as well as collaborating with other health care professionals and stakeholders. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, to further my knowledge and skills in this field.
