About Jennings Chan

I love to manage myself as a brand. Keeping curious about the world enriches my life. I also like to leverage my knowledge to solve problems. When I studied data science in graduate school, I found that thinking systematically by data-driven is very interesting. To take action, I become a business analyst to learn how to construct a solution and search for insights to convince Business Units by storytelling.I enjoy the whole process of solving a problem. This will make me enhance my soft skills and hard skills. Besides my job, I've read two books, which are “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and “How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes”. They inspired me to be more curious about the global economy. Also, the correlation between supply chain and products(or services) is very highly relative. And the marketing plays an activator to attract customers. To a business model, supply chain and marketing are included in an end-to-end operation process.I enhanced the performance of the marketing side through customized tags, value models and model automation-put BU’s demand at first to customize data solution-found insight from data to generate business value-fostered precise marketing to create better user experienceI worked in a connected fitness company to import business intelligence and data-driven to foster the operation efficiency of the supply chain-led cross-functional teams to build up BI dashboards and data pipelines-cooperated with supply chain PMs to integrate supply chain knowledge to provide solutions-focused on cost and inventory optimization for the best supply chain strategiesI educate, refine and drive myself to be a better person-I’m constantly learning because I never settle-I stay calm when faced with adversity-I focus on making high-quality decisionsI enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives.
