About Jenny Sim
I am a proud, and passionate nurse who believes strongly in the importance of nurses and nursing for the provision of high quality, safe and compassionate care. I have over 30 years of experience as a nurse including leadership roles in clinical care, education and research. I completed my PhD on "Measuring the quality and safety outcomes of nursing practice" in 2016. My research focuses on acute hospital settings and I work with novice, early and mid career researchers and established research teams to examine nursing-sensitive patient outcomes with a specific focus on improving patient outcomes (including patient experience) and supporting the nursing workforce.
