About Jens Brunke

Jens Brunke is Head of Asset Management at CM-Equity AG. After his business studies in Augsburg and Berkeley, Jens Brunke had leading positions in portfolio management, equity analysis and corporate finance for over 17 years, including 12 years as managing director. Apart from his comprehensive expertise in portfolio management, he has a broad network to companies and investors around the world, especially in the natural resources and life sciences sectors. At the beginning of his career Jens Brunke started as Equity Analyst for stock listed companies. Main focus was on Tech, Telco and Logistics. In 2004 he started his first company which was focused on advising investment funds and asset management companies. At that time he began to invest into public and also private companies with a focus on resources companies. Since then Jens Brunke was involved in more than 20 investments in private companies (from seed to later stage investments) and over 6 M&A deals. Jens als has an extensive experience as investment manager in public and private companies. Through his activities he built up an extraordinary network in the international Finance, resources and life sciences industry which he now brings to the table when joining CM-Equity AG.
